Boro Marble League operates the Boro Marble League website. You can reach us at .
What we collect
When you place an order. Your name, email address, postal address, and optionally a phone number and delivery notes. We need these to take payment and to get your parcel to you.
When you pay. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and are never sent to or stored by us. We receive only a payment reference and whether the payment succeeded.
When you join the mailing list. Your email address and which of launch day, race nights and marble drops you asked to hear about.
Automatically. Standard web server logs, which include your IP address and browser, kept for security and troubleshooting.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your order details to perform the contract you entered into when you bought something. We use your email for marketing only where you asked us to, and you can withdraw that at any time. We keep order records to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to take payment and to guard against fraud.
- Our shipping carrier, to deliver your parcel.
- Our email provider, if you joined the mailing list.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as a tax authority.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires, currently seven years. Mailing list entries until you unsubscribe. Server logs for a short period.
Your choices
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it — email and we will respond.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Contact us and we will honour them.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
